LVPH: De aedibus 111

Founded in 2003 by Laurent Vuilleumier and Paul Humbert, the architectural practice LVPH (Pampigny/Fribourg) primarily works on projects in Western Switzerland. Its tasks range from an autonomous residential building in Treyvaux supported by 14 columns, to larger projects such as the monolith of a sports hall in Geneva with a colourful anodised, expanded steel facade. All of the practice's works have a poetic character expressed in reduced, radical architecture.

Belgian brand Bautier offers essential products for the home. Founded in 2013 by designer Marina Bautier, it aims to create functional, durable, and well-made pieces, designed to be used and loved for a lifetime.

After ten years of working in the furniture industry, Marina Bautier’s ambition to set up her own brand alongside her design practice grew stronger. What started with a unique assortment of solid wooden furniture has now developed into a full home collection, including small must-have accessories and classic homeware. Personally sourced and curated by Bautier, the range is complemented with qualitative objects from other local brands.

The Bautier studio, workshop, and store are based in Brussels, Belgium. All items are sold exclusively at the Bautier shop and website.

How to order

Bautier products are exclusively available from this website and our store in Brussels.

Brussels store

Our store at 314 Chaussée de Forest, 1190 Brussels is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Most items are on display and directly available. For large furniture pieces, a delivery might have to be organised.

Order Furniture online

We deliver most items worldwide. Please fill in the quote request available on the product pages on this website. We will then get back to you with a shipping quote and estimated delivery date. Your order will be confirmed once we receive your payment, which can be done by bank transfer or credit card.

Order Accessoires online

Accessoires can be ordered directly from this website by adding the items to the cart and proceed to checkout.

Leadtimes

Most items are held on stock (unless indicated otherwise on product page) and can be delivered without delay. Upholstery is made to order on a 4 weeks lead time.

Shipping

Orders are processed from Tuesday to Saturday and deliveries take place during standard business hours, Monday to Friday. We always do our best to notify you if there are any unexpected delays. Please do get in touch if you need your order to be processed urgently.

All of our shipping methods have tracking details, either sent with the Belgian Post, UPS, or our own transport for larger pieces. Once your order has been shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow your parcel. All packages are required to be signed for upon delivery. If you are not home, a card will be left in your letterbox.

Next day delivery with Bpost

If you can make it to the store to collect your order you are more than welcome to chose the free 'pick up from store' option when checking out. Your order will be ready to pick up anytime that suits you during our store's opening hours.

Europe

Parcels to European countries are shipped with the Belgian post. Prices vary according to destination and weight of parcels. Please see pricing at checkout.
From 2 to 5 days.

United-States

Orders are shipped with the Belgian Post, approximate delivery time is 5 to 8 days.
From €15.00 for small parcels, up to €35.00 for larger ones.

International

Except the above, all orders are shipped from Belgium with UPS. The shipping cost of all international orders will be determined by your region, and the individual weights of each product.

Please only supply us with a physical shipping address as we cannot ship internationally to a PO Box. If you have any questions regarding international shipping, please don't hesitate to contact us. Please note that if your item is held for custom clearance procedures, there may be delays beyond original delivery estimates.

Customs charges on international orders

For deliveries outside a European Member State, depending on the destination you may have to pay additional taxes or import duties. Bautier will not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information.

Returns

Under regulation of the Belgian law on trade and the information and protection of consumers of April 6 2010, you are able to cancel your order any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. If you wish to cancel your order you must do so in writing by email at info@bautier.com.

If you request a refund, we will refund the amount you paid for your goods excluding the original delivery and the charge for returning the goods (unless they are faulty or damaged). The delivery charge is non-refundable. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they return to us and this causes the damage or deterioration of the products, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

Any products returned should be unused and in their original packaging. Therefore, please check your goods thoroughly to ensure you are satisfied before disposing of your packaging.
