Bautier Stoneware Plate

A collection of tableware, designed and developed by Marina Bautier. The collection consists of 3 sizes of plates and 2 sizes of cups. A dinner plate, a medium plate for breakfast or lunch and a small plate for breakfast or cake. The small plate also serves as a saucer to hold a cup and a few biscuits. The shape of the plate, often referred to as a ‘flat bowl’, is flat and rimless with a slightly concave edge. A set of tableware, both compliant and practical. Stoneware is clay fired at very high temperatures, making it durable and resistant. The slight impurities in the clay add a natural and rustic feel to it. Produced in the UK by a manufacturer with a long history of pottery making.

Please note, all of our pottery is handcrafted where glazes are applied by hand. As a result of this there may be slight variations in colour when fired and this is part of the beauty and character of our product. Each piece is individual and may vary from the sample image shown online.

About Bautier

Belgian furniture company Bautier offers a coherent collection of well-crafted products. It was founded in 2013 when designer and entrepreneur, Marina Bautier, decided to set up her own furniture brand; a collection which has since developed into a range of various objects: furniture, accessories, home textiles and tableware.

Shipping

Orders are processed from Tuesday to Saturday and deliveries take place during standard business hours, Monday to Friday. We always do our best to notify you if there are any unexpected delays. Please do get in touch if you need your order to be processed urgently.

All of our shipping methods have tracking details, either sent with the Belgian Post, UPS, or our own transport for larger pieces. Once your order has been shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow your parcel. All packages are required to be signed for upon delivery. If you are not home, a card will be left in your letterbox.

International

Please only supply us with a physical shipping address as we cannot ship internationally to a PO Box. If you have any questions regarding international shipping, please don't hesitate to contact us. Please note that if your item is held for custom clearance procedures, there may be delays beyond original delivery estimates.

Customs charges on international orders

For deliveries outside a European Member State, depending on the destination you may have to pay additional taxes or import duties. Bautier will not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information.

Returns

Under regulation of the Belgian law on trade and the information and protection of consumers of April 6 2010, you are able to cancel your order any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. If you wish to cancel your order you must do so in writing by email at info@bautier.com.

If you request a refund, we will refund the amount you paid for your goods excluding the original delivery and the charge for returning the goods (unless they are faulty or damaged). The delivery charge is non-refundable. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they return to us and this causes the damage or deterioration of the products, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

Any products returned should be unused and in their original packaging. Therefore, please check your goods thoroughly to ensure you are satisfied before disposing of your packaging.
